Transparent methodology

  • The scores are based on a transparent methodology that is publicly available.
  • WaVeritas’ ESG rating is derived exclusively from information published directly by companies, which enables a transparent and fair comparison.
  • The focus of the calculations is on quantitative performance indicators. However, aspects of structure and management are also taken into account.
  • Materiality and conformity with international benchmarks are essential pillars of the rating. The methodology takes into account internationally recognized guidelines, standards and recommendations during the selectin and weighting process.
  • The materiality matrix and ESG scores are systematically and regularly subjected to a plausibility test
