Trinh has seven years’ experience in ESG consulting for several projects in Vietnam. Particularly, she assisted clients in the energy industry (including thermal power, hydropower, waste to energy and renewable energy) to identify impacts and risks associated with their project activities. Moreover, she developed actionable mitigation measures to reduce these impacts and achieve compliance with national and international environmental and social performance requirements (World Bank Group – IFC Performance Standards).
Apart from consultancy projects, she used to work as an ESG Manager for a leading renewable energy company in Southeast Asia. During this time, she gained precious experiences in integrating ESG activities into a business through working with various teams and conducting stakeholder engagements (e.g., investors, authorities, and local people). She implemented new ESG initiatives and aligned the company’s sustainability strategy with international best practices and standards.
Trinh also obtained a successful record in tertiary education with the Bachelor of Environmental Science in Vietnam and the Master of Urban and Regional Planning in Australia in 2013.
